Zoroastrian Society Backs Islamic Revolution, Leadership, Govt

Yazd, Feb 8, IRNA - Zoroastrian Priest Shah Bahram Beluvani said on Tuesday that the Zoroastrian society in Iran fully backs the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the government. Beluvani made the remarks in a special ceremony marking the 33rd victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran which was held in the city of Ardakan on Tuesday. Zoroastrians have always backed the Iranian people and remain committed to aspirations of the Islamic Revolution. Enemies have tried to sow seeds of discords between Muslims and Zoroastrians but to no avail, he underlined. During Sacred Defense era, the Iranian Zoroastrians dedicated many martyrs to protect the Islamic Revolution, he said. Iranian Zoroastrians will massively take part in nationwide rallies marking the 33rd victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution as well as in upcoming parliamentary elections, he said. The Iranian government has rendered valuable services to minorities in the country which should be praised, he said./end
