Saudi Space Agency Hosts a Panel Session on the Kingdom’s Mission into Space at IAC

Baku, October 04, 2023, SPA -- Within the framework of the Saudi Space Agency’s (SSA) active participation in the 74th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) held in Baku, Azerbaijan, the SSA hosted a panel session on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s mission into space, in which Saudi astronauts and researchers participated.
The session comes in the context of the SSA responding to the global developments in the space field and emphasizing the important role of the Kingdom as a key player. The session included a detailed discussion of the SSA-HSF1 space mission experiments, the scientific findings, and the opportunities and challenges encountered.
The IAC is one of the most important international forums in the space sector, as it represents a significant opportunity for scientists, researchers, space agencies, and enthusiasts in this sector to meet, share experiences, and learn about the various global experiences in this field.
The International Astronautical Federation (IAF) organizes the IAC, and it includes more than 400 members representing more than 71 countries in the world, including space agencies, companies, universities, specialized societies, institutes, and government bodies.
