14 Healthcare Firms To Participate In Arab Health 2015

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 23 (Bernama) -- Fourteen Malaysian exporters in the healthcare industry will participate in Arab Health 2015 trade fair at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). In a statement here Friday, Malaysia External Trade Development Corp (Matrade), said fair would be held from Jan 26-29, 2015. "Arab Health 2015 has been a focal point for buyers throughout the world as it is the second biggest event in the world’s medical industry, with most of its clients from West Asia and Asia," it said. Matrade said 2015 marked its 11th consecutive year in the event. It said the UAE medical device market was projected to expand at 7.3 per cent and growth estimated to progress from US$841.2 million in 2013 to US$1.2 billion by 2018. "Recognising valuable opportunities in this booming sector, Matrade is facilitating the participation of the 14 exporters at the fair," it said. Meanwhile, one of the participants, Medicfit Technology Sdn Bhd, said it hoped to increase its exposure, brand visibility and establish its image worldwide through the event. Another participant, S. Kian Seng Sdn Bhd, said it hoped to expand and create new business opportunities in West Asia while seeking more agents to represent the company’s products.
