Azerbaijan`s daily COVID-19 recoveries more than infections

Baku, August 14, AZERTAC Azerbaijan on Friday continued its positive trend of more people recovering from coronavirus daily than catching it. The Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers said 221 more people recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the tally to 31,490, while another 103 people contracted the virus, bringing the total count of infections thus far to 34,018. The country's death toll from the disease rose to 504, with 4 new fatalities reported over the last 24 hours. As many as 7,969 tests were conducted over the last 24 hours, raising the total number of tests to 820,002, the Task Force added.
