Bahrain to host conference on pediatric hematology

Manama, Aug. 7 (BNA): A major conference focusing on pediatric hematology will open in Bahrain on January 23, 2020. Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh received the committee in charge of organising the three-day event, which will attract leading doctors from Bahrain and abroad. The committee includes Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC) Pediatric Department chief Dr. Mansour Rajab, conference chief Dr. Najat Mahdi and Scientific Committee Chairperson Dr. Fadhila Al-Mahroos. The minister stressed the importance of holding such high-profile events which bolstering Bahrain’s credentials in hosting specialized conferences and forums to achieve goals and strengthening the health sector. She underlined the need to promoting prevention against blood diseases among children and ensuring all opportunities to enable them to enjoy a normal life.
