FAO HIGH-LEVEL FORUM TO RUN HERE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A high-level forum themed “Climate change and food safety in landlocked developing countries (LLDCs) and small islands developing States (SIDS) of Asia and the Pacific” will run this March 12 in Ulaanbaatar. It will be organized by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) within the 32nd FAO Regional Conference for Asia and the Pacific scheduled March 10-14 in UB. The high level forum is expected to gather Agricultural Ministers and high delegates from the LLDCs and SIDS, also from the UN, international organizations, regional developmental partners and NGOs. The participants will consider issues of the climate aspects which ensure food safety in these regions, also future policy and strategic opportunities.
