Health Minister To Leave For Geneva

Tehran, May 19, IRNA – Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education Mohammad Hassan Tariqat heading a delegation will leave Tehran for Geneva Sunday to take part in the 66th General Assembly of the World Health Organization. In addition to delivering a lecture to WHO General Assembly, he will also confer with director general of WHO, Margaret Chan, and Ala Alwan, the WHO Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean. He is also scheduled to review health issues with a number of health ministers of taking part at WHO General Assembly. The Iranian health minister will be accompanied by two members of the Parliamentˈs Commission on Health and Medical Education.
