Health Ministry granted ‘Accreditation-Diamond’ status

Manama, Aug. 14 (BNA): Bahrain’s Health Ministry has been granted the ‘Accreditation-Diamond’ status by the Qmentum International accreditation programme’s Accredition Decision Committee for its distinction in the primary health care services, thus adding a new milestone to the achievements of the health sector in the kingdom. The Health Ministry received a detailed Accreditation report and an official letter from Accredition Decision Committee in this regard. The Ministry of Health said that the exploit is the outcome of the report submitted by the Canadian expert team based on the thorough evaluation of all the primary health care centres by the Accreditation Canada’s specialised team. The kingdom’s primary health care centres met 99.1% of the international standards set by the Canadian Accreditation Council. The international achievement attained by the Health Ministry is a global recognition of Bahrain’s distinguished health system and comprehensive quality services provided according to innovative quality standards, thanks the keenness of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to harness all potentials and resources to achieve the Sustainable Development Strategy 2030 and to put in place a world-level health system.
