ISC, UHS ink MoU

Tehran, Nov 6, IRNA - Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) and University of Health Sciences of Lahore (UHS) signed scientific MoU. According to the public relations department and international scientific cooperation center of ISC, the MoU was sealed in the presence of UHS Chancellor, Head of ISC Mohammad Javad Dehghani, Deputy Head of ISC for research and technology Ali Gazani and Iran's Consul General in Lahore. Based on the MoU, ISC took the responsibility of indexing UHS's journals in ISC, evaluating and monitoring the scientific performance of UHS, evaluating and ranking scientific journals, presenting periodic reports of UHS's scientific performance based on science indicators, presenting the access to ISC websites, holding workshops to train how to use ISC websites, giving advice to UHS in order to promote researchers' scientific performance and ranking researchers for a period of 5 years. During a trip to Pakistan, ISC's faculty members visited University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore (UET), College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP), Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). The Regional Information Center for Science and Technology (RICEST) signed MoU with UHS. After signing the MoU, both sides would be able to exchange their publications, namely books, magazines, technical and research reports, theses, etc. 1378/IRNA
