Japan through eyes of Azerbaijanis

Baku, March 3 (AzerTAc). A scientific seminar “Japan through the eyes of Azerbaijanis” was organized by the Elm Chiragi NGO with the support of the Japanese embassy to Azerbaijan at the Hajibeyli Baku Music Academy. Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Elm Chiragi Naida Mammadkhanova highlighted the importance of the event. She pointed out that although Japan is geographically far from Azerbaijan, but it is close to the everyday life of Azerbaijanis. Representative of the Japanese embassy Yusuke Fukuda noted that both countries are expanding their bilateral relations. He underlined that azerbaijan and Japan are both tolerant countries. Vice-chancellor of the Baku Music Academy Ogtay Abbasguliyev underlined the importance of the event. The event participants heard presentations “Japan society`s view on religion and life” by Fukuda, “Azerbaijan-Japan relations in the lens of modern culturological research” by Azerbaijani scientists, “Japanese gardens and parks” etc.
