BALIK PULAU (Penang, Malaysia), June 22 (Bernama) -- The government will step up healthscreening at all entry points to prevent the Middle East Respitory Syndrome-Corona Virus (MERS-CoV) from spreading in the country, said Deputy Health Minister Dr Hilmi Yahaya. He said besides this, visitors to the country would also be briefed on precautions to be taken to avoid being infected by the deadly disease. "We have been montoring the body temperatures of arrivals at all international airports, Now, we (Health Ministry) are going further to include all entry points," he said. Dr Hilmi, who is also the MP for Balik Pulau, said this in commenting on the measures being taken by the ministry following the outbreak of MERS-CoV in South Korea and the detection of one such case in Thailand.
