MONGOLIA-TURKEY COOPERATION TO WIDEN IN HEALTH SPHERE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Health and Sport G.Shiilegdamba Thursday received Mr Murat Karagoz, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Mongolia, and diplomats of the Turkish Embassy. the sides noted that the bilateral relations have been expanding, especially in the health sector. The delegation said they had noted a need for ambulance aid in our Arkhangai and Ovorkhangai aimags, and gave the Minister a plan of works aimed at preparing instructors for improving the medical education of people in remote areas, renovating medical facilities of health centers, creating a network of ambulance aid service, and at fortifying the health system. The Minister thanked the Turkish side for collaborating with Mongolia in improving medical aid for localities, and hoped that this cooperation will continue for a long time.
