PROMINENT SCIENTISTS GATHER TO PRESENT RESEARCHES

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Institute of Physics and Technology of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences is hosting an International Conference themed ‘Modern Trends in Natural Sciences and Advanced Technologies in Science Education’ on August 20-23 The conference focuses on how to introduce the trends of natural sciences-- one of the factors of the policy on promoting science, technology and innovation, into higher education, and how to conform it with demands of Mongolia's development and vocational personnel market. Furthermore, the conference features a wide range activities on essential issues for Mongolia, such as providing attendees with opportunity to exchange experience on the ties and collaboration between academic institutions of natural sciences, share new research methodology and introduce their research works to foreign scientists and researchers. The event is being attended by over 70 representatives who are to make presentations on advanced technology in higher education sector and natural sciences such as biotechnology, nuclear technology, nanotechnology and material studies. Some 30 of them are prominent scientists and professors from Austria, South Korea, China, Israel, Russia, Taiwan and Japan. M.Anudari
