Russia plans to open science and culture centers in Moldova, Singapore and Armenia’s Gyumri

MOSCOW, December 29. /TASS/. Moscow plans to expand the network of Russian science and culture centers abroad, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a commentary on the results of the year on Tuesday. "Issues of strengthening Russia’s international humanitarian presence have invariably dominated the agenda of Russian diplomacy," the Foreign Ministry said. "The network of Rossotrudnichestvo affiliates and Russian science and culture centers abroad has been expanding as they served as effective platforms for dialogue, sources of newsworthy information, places of meetings of compatriots," the ministry added. "A Russian science and culture center opened in Bucharest, the new center was built in Kabul, and more centers are planned in Moldova, in Ganja (Azerbaijan), Gyumri (Armenia), Oshe (Kyrgyzstan), Khujand (Tajikistan).
