Baku, July 28 (AzerTAc). A Science and Medical Library after academician Zarifa Aliyeva has been presented in Ukraine. The library was founded by Kiev-based International Medical Research Center after academician Zarifa Aliyeva. In an interview with AzerTAc, director of the center Aydin Salmanov said the library would hold materials that support study and research in the field of medicine. “The collection of the library will include works by prominent Azerbaijani scholars in Azerbaijani, Ukrainian, English, Russian and other languages.” “The library is the first ever Azerbaijani library of medical literature abroad set up by Azerbaijani scholars,” he said. Mr. Salmanov said: “The library currently features more than 1,000 documents, including electronic material. And the collection will be expanded on a constant basis. We ensured access to the materials of the library through an electronic catalogue.”
