Speaker at exhibition opening

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Chairman of the State Great Khural (parliament) Z.Enkhbold participated Monday in an opening ceremony of an exhibition dedicated to the 380th birth anniversary of High Saint Zanabazar, a prominent educator of Mongolia and the first Bogd. Present were also E.Bat-Uul, the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city, Ya.Sodbaatar and Ts.Oyungerel MPs, scholars and religious figures and others. E.Bat-Uul thanked the Speaker for taking part in the ceremony and said this exhibition has been mounted in frames of the "Friendly Ulaanbaatar" program. Lived from 1635 to 1723, High Saint Zanabazar was the first Jebtsundamba Khutuktu, the spiritual head of Tibetan Buddhism.
