Speaker Inaugurates Iran's Biggest Nuclear Medicine Hospital Ward In Mashhad

Mashhad, Razavi Khorassan Prov., Sept 22, IRNA – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said on Saturday that once the most sophisticated nuclear medicine ward in Razavi Hospital of Mashhad becomes operational, patients will no longer need to travel abroad for treatment. Talking to reporters on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the most equipped nuclear medicine ward in the Hospital, Larijani termed the establishment of the nuclear medicine ward as something new and unprecedented. He hoped that the project would play an important role in treating patients suffering from hard to cure diseases. He praised Astane Qods Razavi staff for their endeavors that led to establishment of the biggest nuclear medicine ward in Iran in less than four years. He noted that Majlis will support the projects undertaken by non-governmental sector. He added that next year budget envisions financial support for related activities. The most sophisticated nuclear medicine ward with 200 beds was inaugurated the Majlis Speaker and Minister of Health on Saturday./end
