STUDENTS GET STIPEND FOR THIS YEAR

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A monthly stipend of 70 thousand MNT is to be received by students from December 3. A total of 280,800 togrog will go to each of them studying in universities and institutes of Mongolia. This sum is the money for the period of September-December. This year, 145 thousand students of 98 universities and institutes are involved in the national stipend program. The Ministry of Education and Science says that parliament is discussing an issue of fixing criteria for receiving the stipend and that a decision will be ready early 2014.
