Supreme Council of Health Hosts MENATOX 2015 Conference

Doha, January 22 (QNA) - The Supreme Council of Health will host from January 23 to 25 the 4th Middle East and North Africa Clinical Toxicology Association Conference (MENATOX 2015), with the participation of experts from the Gulf region, Middle East, Asia, the United States and Europe. The conference, which will be officially opened on Saturday, is a platform for exchanging latest scientific and researches and discoveries among experts and specialists on Clinical Toxicology and also presenting the basics of this science for newcomers. MENATOX 2015, which is organized in collaboration with the Hamad Medical Corporation and the Association of the Middle East and North Africa of Clinical Toxicology, also focusses on building regional and global partnerships with local institutions to raise the efficiency in the field and assessing clinical toxicology and supporting services as well as working on standardization of services related to integrated Toxicology (clinical, laboratory and environmental) to gather all of them under one national umbrella. Three related workshops will be held on Friday ahead of the conference during which, experts will discuss the basics of clinical toxicology. (QNA)
