Thailand Research Expo 2015 opens

BANGKOK, August 16 (TNA) - A five-day ‘Thailand Research Expo 2015’ opened at a Bangkok hotel on Sunday, aimed at displaying innovative and research works conducted by educational and public sectors throughout the country. The expo was opened today by Deputy Prime Minister Doctor Yongyut Yuthawong, who said through research Thailand could lower its weakness in every aspect, especially in health care, and also help boost the national economy efficiently. Highlights at the Expo include displays of several innovative and research works such as a school uniform which could enlarge along with the aging user. The research was conducted by King Mongkut‘s Institute of Technology North Bangkok. Another interesting presentation was from Naresuan University on analysis of the heart disease by sound. A special prize was awarded to Doctor Varayuth Sajomesaeng, a young scientist for his outstanding scientific concept which could be used with a medical equipment and pharmaceutical for controlling or treating a disease.
