13 LatAm states to attend Iran’s ZSF trainings

TEHRAN, Aug. 20 (MNA) – Thirteen Latin American countries will attend training sessions held by Iran’s Zurkhaneh Sports Federation (ZSF). Meigoun in Qeshm Island will host the sessions consisting of two theoretical and practical sections for ten days. Mohsen Alizadeh the president of Iran’s ZSF welcomed the meeting of athletes and coaches in the opening ceremony. “In line with official policies held by the International Zurkhaneh Sports Federation (IZSF) to extend this original Iranian sports, the Federation will hold the training sessions for Latin American countries for the first time,” he added. “Each of you will represent IZSF in managing the affairs and national squad; Ayoubi, the head of City Council and Mehdi Saveh, Federation’s official expert will provide necessary advice during 10 days,” he told the meeting. Shemshaki, who officially represents Iran Tourism Investment and Recreation Co. (the official sponsor of the sessions), cited “help promote Iran’s ancient and revered culture in the world.” “Zurkhaneh sports portray sportsmanship and magnanimity as outstanding features of Iranian public, and since we should introduce these highly human traits of our forefathers to the world, we supported the IZSF in the mission,” he added. “We think that these participants would be good ambassadors of Iran’s culture in their countries,” Shemshaki said. Participants came from Argentina, Honduras, Colombia, Brazil, Guatemala, El Salvador, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Uruguay, Nicaragua, Peru, Cuba and Paraguay.
