Aerobic gymnasts grab medals in Asian Championship

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A national team of Mongolia with 35 athletes won one gold and two bronze medals in the 4th Aerobic Gymnastics Asian Championship which took place November 17-21 in Danwon of South Korea. The events were participated by some 300 gymnasts from 11 countries such as China, South Korea, Japan, Mongolia, Hong Kong and India and others. Our team had athletes from the National Institute of Physical Culture (NIPC), Institute of Physical Culture at the State University of Education and the “Light” club at the Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST), from two secondary schools, and Darkhan-Uul aimag. A team of the MUST won the gold medal in the above 18-age category. Another team, coached by E.Monkh-Orgil at the NIPC, grabbed the bronze medal in the dance aerobics contest. In the youngest age division (12-14 years old), D.Bat-Monkh and M.Byambatseren captured another "bronze".
