AFC President arrives in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Sept.18, 2019. /Kabar/. Asian Football Confederation (AFC) President Salman Bin Ibrahim Al-Khalifa has arrived in Kyrgyzstan yesterday, Sept. 17, the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Football Federation reported. During the visit, the AFC president met with the leadership of the Football Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic (FFKR) in the person of President of FFKR Kanatbek Mamatov. In particular, the sides discussed issues of further assistance in the implementation of programs and projects of AFC. In addition, during his working visit, the guest met with Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov. The sides exchanged views on the level of development of football, discussed future projects and prospects for further cooperation. According to the press service of the FFKR, Salman Bin Ibrahim Al-Khalifa presented to the Kyrgyz leader design projects of football centers, which will be built in Bishkek and Issyk-Kul with the support of the AFC and FIFA in the allocated land plots. Kyrgyzstan has been a member of the AFC since 1994.
