AGCFF Sets November 27th to December 9th for 24th Arabian Gulf Cup in Doha

Doha, July 16 (QNA) - The Executive Committee of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation (AGCFF) has approved the date of the 24th edition of Arabian Gulf Cup in Doha from November 27th to December 9th of this year. This came during the Committe's meeting held today presided over by HE President of Qatar Football Association (QFA) and Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Thani. At the beginning of the meeting, HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al -Thani welcomed the members of the Executive Office including the new representative of the Kuwaiti Football Association, Dr. Ibrahim Al Ansari. The meeting was attended by Dr. Jassim Al-Shekaily (Oman), Tareq Ahmad (Iraq), Dr. Hamid Al-Shebani (Yemen) and Dr. Ibrahim Al-Ansari (Kuwait), along with Jassim Al Rumaihi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cup Federation, and Assistant Secretary General Ahmed Al Nuaimi (Bahrain). The meeting discussed a number of important issues, foremost of which were the adoption of the Gulf Cup 24, in addition to amendments made by the committee to the regulations, which were adopted in principle pending further study for final approval. The meeting also discussed the nominations of members of the Judicial Committees, which includes the Disciplinary and Appellate Committees, in preparation for submission to the General Assembly for adoption.
