Al-Attiyah Remains Vice President of International Motorcycling Federation

Madrid, November 22 (QNA) - Qatar Motor and Motorcycling Federation (QMMF) President Nasser bin Khalifa Al Attiyah became Sunday the Vice President of the International Motorcycling Federation. Al-Attiyah was elected in Spain, winning a total of 68 votes from 102. The win means Al-Attiyah will keep his post, which he held 2010-2014, for another term. The President of QMMF expressed his delight with the win, saying its a win for Qatar and the Arab world of an international scale. He added that the win reflected the trust he gained from the members during his previous term. He paid tribute to Arab federations, who Al-Attiyah said were an important voting bloc that helped him win another term as Vice President of International Motorcycling Federation. (QNA)
