Al Duhail Joins Al Wakrah to Asian Men's Handball Championship Semi-Finals

Kuwait, March 28 (QNA) - Al Duhail qualified for the Asian Men's Handball Championship semifinals after beating Al Wakrah 22-21 in the match that brought the two teams together at the end of the first round of the championship currently held in the State of Kuwait, and which will continue until next Monday with the participation of 13 clubs representing 11 countries. Al Duhail topped the second group with five points, while Al Wakrah, who had reached the semi-finals, finished second with four points. The two semi-final matches will be held on Saturday and the final match is scheduled for Monday. It is worth mentioning that Qatar's Al Sadd holds the record of winning this title after winning the championship five times. (QNA)
