Al Duhail Lead General Excellence Chart for Age Groups

Doha, May 24 (QNA) - Al Duhail have led the charts of general excellence in the competitions of the different age groups for the first division as they achieved a record of 184, the highest among clubs involved in the process. Al Duhail beat Al Sadd who took second place, while third-placed Al Gharafa were 20 points behind the top. Al Arabi ranked fourth, Al Ahli were fifth ahead of Al Rayyan in sixth, Al Wakrah in seventh, Qatar SC in eighth, Al Sailiya in ninth, while Umm Salal were bottom in the 10th place. The general excellence points are counted measured through a special system based on team rankings in the league and cup competitions for the four age groups in place, according to the regulations of the age group competitions. The youth competitions are excluded from the system as their league competition is not divided into first and second divisions as is the case in the other categories of the general excellence system.
