Al Khor Sports Club Signs Brazilian Wagner Ferreira dos Santos

Doha, September 20 (QNA) - Al Khor Sports Club announced on Wednesday that it has signed Brazilian midfielder CR Vasco da Gama, Wagner Ferreira dos Santos. Al Khor Sports Club President Hassan Juma Al Mohannadi expressed his satisfaction with the player's joining the club and wished that he performs well. The 33-year-old Brazilian midfielder has great technical and physical abilities and has a great career. He started his career at America Mineiro Club in Brazil and played with them for two seasons before moving to Brazil's Cruzeiro from 2004 to 2007. Wagner was important in Al-Ittihad's championship run; and on 7 August 2009 Lokomotiv Moscow acquired the Brazilian player. On 17 January 2011 he signed for Turkish Gaziantepspor. (QNA)
