Al Rayyan Sign International Ukrainian Striker

Doha, January 24 (QNA) - Al Rayyan Sports Club signed international Ukrainian forward Marko Devic on loan from Rubin Kazan for six months. HE club Chairman Sheikh Saoud bin Khalid Al-Thani was present during the final phase of the deal. An ever-present player for the Ukrainian national team, Devic is known for his goal-scoring exploits. He was the top scorer of the Ukrainian League back in 2008, scoring 27 goals. On his move to Al Rayyan, Devic said that the loan was a test to him. He added he was relishing the challenge and is ready to do his best for the team. He added that he was looking forward to linking up with Argentinian wizard Lucho Gonzalez. (QNA)
