Al Rayyan Win Youth Handball Cup

Doha, March 18 (QNA) - Al Rayyan was crowned champion of the Qatar Handball Association (QHA) youth handball cup after beating Al Ahli 27/23 in the final match on Monday at Al Duhail Sports Hall. QHA Board of Directors member Hamad Mesfer Al Nuaimi crowned Al Rayyan team with the gold medals. Al Rayyan defeated Al Shamal 53/24 in the quarter-finals and Al Duhail 29/24 in the semi-finals. Al Ahli beat Qatar SC 31/23 in the quarter-finals and Al Gharafa 23/21 in the semis. Also, Al Rayyan won the juniors handball league title on Sunday, while Al Duhail finished second and Al Ahli finished third. (QNA)
