Al Zaeem Air College Wins 2019 Amiri Air Force Football Championship

Doha, May 29 (QNA) - Al Zaeem (Leader) Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air College's football team was crowned champion of the Air Force football championship after defeating the friendly team on penalties 3-2 in the final match at football stadiums at the air base. At the end of the match, HE Major General (Pilot) Salem Hamad al-Nabet, commander of the Amiri Air Force, crowned the winners and distributed medals and prizes for the tournament, which began on May 8th, with the participation of all departments of the Amiri Air Force. Lieutenant-Colonel Ahmed Fakhro won the Air Force Athlete of the Year award. Distinguished athletes, both coaches and players, were also honored at the end of the 2018/2019 Amiri Air Season. (QNA)
