Asian beach volleyball champs kicks off in southern Iran

Bandar Abbas, IRNA – Asian men's beach volleyball championship started with 29 teams from 11 countries in Bandar Abbas, southern Iran, in attendance on Monday. Speaking to IRNA, managing director of Hormuzgan Province sports and youths department Mozaffar Mehri Khademi said that various teams from Australia, China, Japan, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Thailand, Iran, Oman, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and India attended the event. Asian Beach Volleyball Tour (Open) was earlier held in Bandar Abbas on November 7-11. China, Australia, and Iran ranked first to third respectively. Follow us on Twitter @IrnaEnglish
