Aspetar Organises The 2nd QMED Sports Medicine Conference

Dohaو November 28 (QNA) - Aspetar, the specialised Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital will organise the second Aspetar QMED Sports Medicine Conference on 3rd December 2015. This is in conjunction with the Qatar International Medical Devices and Healthcare Exhibition and Conferences (QMED), taking place from 2nd 4th December 2015, at Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC). The conference will discuss a number of important topics that highlight challenges and developments related to sport injuries. Topics will include athletes health, sports injuries in Qatar, shoulder and groin pain in athletes, muscle injuries in sport, ACL injuries in sport, the treatment of high-level athletes, and more. The sessions will feature a number of experts from Qatar and around the world, including Dr. Eva Carneiro, former first-team doctor of Chelsea FC, Dr. Boris Poberaj from the United States, Dr. Alexandre Creuze from France, and a number of Aspetar experts including Dr. Philippe Landreau, Dr. Zarko Vuckovic, , Dr. Husam Rezeq, Dr. Mathew Wilson, Silvia Ortega Cebrian, and more. Hosting and organising this conference comes in line with Aspetars vision to become a leader in sports medicine.
