Aspire Academy holds 1st Parent Meeting for Academic Year 2019-2020

Doha, September 25 (QNA) - Aspire Academy held a meeting of parents of its athletic students for all levels for the academic year 2019-2020. In his speech to the audience, Deputy Director General of Aspire Academy Ali Salem Afifa, stressed the school's commitment to both sports and academic excellence, saying that Aspire recognizes the important role of the parents in the development and education of their children. adding that Aspire is keen to promote education, sports, and to build personalities. Qatar National Football Team, which won the Asian Cup despite the challenges , has shown the values it has learned in Aspire. Officials from the Football and Sports Departments, the Aspire Health Center, the Department of Education and Student Welfare held an open discussion session with the students' parents during which they discussed the role of each department towards students, providing an overview of the programs, and answered the parent's questions regarding their children at the athletically and educationally level. Aspire Academy School Principal Jassem Al-Jaber said that this is the first of many parent-teacher meetings we have planned for this year. We strongly believe in working closely with parents to support the academic and athletic development of our students. This year, we have embraced some programs to promote positive behavior in our students based on three principles: respect, responsibility and readiness. For his part, Technical Director of Aspire Academy’s Football Department Edorta Murua said that the Academy manages a procedural and methodological developmental approach in teaching football skills. Deputy Director of sports in Aspire Academy, Dr Hazem Anabtawi stressed the vital role of parents in motivating their children, who are engaged in a new system, and this can be a difficult transition, this includes love and motivation by parents at home, then they can become successful champions.
