ATHLETES TO COMPETE IN SUMMER UNIVERSIADE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Our national university team will take part in the 28th Summer Universiade that will take place this July 3-14 in Gwangju city of South Korea. The Mongolian team has 144 athletes who will compete in 12 events, and 35 officials and coaches. A ceremony of seeing off the athletes and State Flag granting will take place June 26 with a participation of G.Shiilegdamba, the Minister of Health and Sport, and D.Bayasgalan, the president of the University Sport Federation of Mongolia and chief finance expert at the International University Federation (FISU). The 2015 Summer Universiade will attract 12,500 athletes of 170 countries to compete in 18 events.
