Azerbaijan hosts international chess festival

Baku, September 22 (AzerTAc). International Baku Open 2014 chess festival has today started in Baku marking the State Independence Day. The festival involves nearly 250 chess players from 22 countries, including 30 international grandmasters, 19 international masters and 11 FIDE masters. The Swiss system tournament will feature competition in two divisions, A and B. The total money prize of the event is 50,000 $.
