Azerbaijan moves to highest-ever UEFA ranking as FC Qabala, FC Karabakh shine in playoff round

Baku, August 21, AZERTAG FC Qarabag`s victory over Young Boys and FC Qabala`s draw against Panathinaikos in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League playoffs have propelled Azerbaijan to the highest-ever UEFA ranking of 26th – just one place behind Norway. Azerbaijan jumped 3 spots and passed ahead Bulgaria and Slovenia with adding 0,375 points.
