Azerbaijan Sport Journalists Association names AZERTAC best news agency of 2022

Baku, December 13, AZERTAC Azerbaijan Sport Journalists Association has named Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) the best news agency of 2022 as the organization held its annual ceremony to award the media outlets covering sporting events throughout the year. President of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation Mikayil Jabbarov, President of the Azerbaijan Minifootball Federation Orkhan Mammadov and President of the Azerbaijan Fencing Federation Balakishi Gasimov were announced the Sports Figures of the Year. Azerbaijan’s National Olympic Committee (NOC) was honored a special award for its services in turning Azerbaijani sport into one of the pioneers of the world Olympic movement over the past 30 years since its inception. The Association also announced winners in "The sportsman of the year", "The team of the year", "The head coach of the year", "The referee of the year" and other nominations.
