Azerbaijani chess players grab five European medals

Baku, June 28, AZERTAC Azerbaijani chess players have claimed 5 medals, including a gold at the European Championship among schoolchildren in Kallithea, Greece. The gold medal came from Ziya Mammadov. Aydin Suleymanli and Sabina Rzali won the silver, while Farid Malikov and Susan Mammadova scooped the bronze medals of the tournament. The Swiss system tournament featured 9 rounds, and brought together 256 chess players.
