Azerbaijani freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling teams name squad for World Championship

Baku, August 26, AZERTAC Azerbaijani freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling teams announced squad for the World Championship to be held in Las-Vegas on September 7-12. The line-up was announced at the Olympic Wrestling Center with the participation of the First Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation, member of the United World Wrestling Executive Committee Namig Aliyev. The Greco-Roman wrestling team included Rovshan Bayramov weighing in at 59kg, Hasan Aliyev at 66kg, Rasul Chunayev at 71kg, Elvin Mursaliyev at 75kg, Rafig Huseynov at 80kg, Saman Tehmasibi at 85kg, Orkhan Nuriyev at 98kg and Sabah Sherati at 130kg. The team will be led by Head Coach Jamshid Kheyabadi, coaches Nuraddin Rajabov and Akif Aliyev. The freestyle wrestling line-up included Mahir Amiraslanov weighing in at 57kg, Haji Aliyev at 61kg, Togrul Asgarov at 65kg, Ruslan Dibirhajiyev at 70kg, Jabrayil Hasanov at 74kg, Mahammadhaji Khatiyev at 86kg, Khetag Gazyumov at 97kg and Jamaladdin Mahammadov at 125kg. The team will compete by the leading of the Head Coach Saypula Absaidov, coaches Firdovsi Umudov and David Kurtsiya.
