Azerbaijani junior wrestler won silver medal at European Championship

Baku, June 24, AZERTAC Azerbaijan`s junior wrestler Elis Manolova has claimed a silver medal in the 67kg event at the European Championship in Bucharest, Romania. The female wrestlers Sona Tumarkhanova and Shabnam Ahmedova will compete in 48 and 55 weight categories today. In referee board the country will represented by international category referee Intigam Aliyev. The championship will end on June 26. Note that at last year’s European championship the Azerbaijani wrestlers writing new history overall gained 5 gold, 4 silver and 6 bronze medals.
