Badminton - 20 INDONESIAN SHUTTLERS TO LEAVE FOR NETHERLANDS, GERMANY Lembang, W Java, Feb 20 (Antara) - A total of 20 Indonesian young shuttlers from the badminton club of PB Djarum will leave for the Netherlands and Germany to participate in junior tournaments, a spokesman has said. The young shuttlers will leave for the Netherlands on Saturday (Feb.24) along with their coach, according to Fung Permadi, the PB Djarum team manager, here on Tuesday. "The shuttlers will start playing on Tuesday (Feb.27). We hope they are able to compete. Moreover, map of the junior player's strength began to expand," he pointed out. Permadi further said that the shuttlers will be fielded in the men's and women's single, men's and women's double and the mixed double. The similar game numbers will also take place in Germany, a week after that in the Netherlands. "The two championships are in order. The Netherlands first then Germany. We want them to add 'flight hours'. Moreover, the number of international junior championships are not many. Approximately four to five championships per year," he remarked. PB Djarum is one of the badminton clubs in Indonesia that has turnout many reliable players.
