Bahrain beat Kuwait in West Asia Championship

Manama, Dec.30 (BNA): Bahrain routed Kuwait 4-1 in the opening of the 2nd West Asia Women’s Junior Football Championship. Lilia Sebkar scored two goals 11 and 81 minutes into the match which was played at the Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town. Her teammate Al-Anud Al-Mannai also netted two further goals 46 mn and 75 mn sealing the final victory for Bahrain which topped the group with three points. The only Kuwaiti goal was scored by Munira Al-Raqm, 86 mn into the match. In another match, the UAE team beat Iraq 4-2, while Lebanon edged past Jordan 3-0. Kuwait will take on Palestine, while Jordan will play Iraq. In a third match, the UAE will take on Lebanon tomorrow (Tuesday)..
