Bahrain national handball team edge Iran

Manama, Oct.20 (BNA): Bahrain national handball team has today defeated Iran 29/26 in Group B Asian qualifications for the 2020 Olympic Games. The national squad tops the qualifications group along with South Korea, totaling four points after start the campaign with two consecutive wins. Bahrain will take on its rival South Korea on Tuesday as part of the third match of the Group B Asian qualifications and the will consolidate its standing at the top of the group. The national team will have either to win the match or draw with South Korea to book a spot in the semi-finals.
