BASKETBALL TEAM TO COMPETE IN PRELIMINARY ROUND IN ASIAN GAMES

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Our basketball men team has been qualified to the next competitions after becoming the second in the “A” group of qualifying round in Incheon of S.Korea. In the preliminary round, the team defeated Hong Kong (86:77) and Maldives (54:112), but in the last game at the qualifying stage on Monday it was defeated by Kuwait with 82:81. Having come to the second place in the “A” Group, Mongolia was qualified to compete in the preliminary stage at the “D” group alongside Jordan and South Korea. By the schedule, the match Mongolia vs Jordan will take place on Tuesday at 6.30 pm by UB time.
