Batelco to sponsor H.M. King Hamad’s 12th Golf Trophy

Manama, Nov. 10 (BNA): Bahrain Telecommunication Company (Batelco) announced that it would sponsor the His Majesty King Hamad’s International Golf Championship for the 12th consecutive year. The company reiterated its support to the youth and sports sectors in Bahrain and dedication to ensure to ensure the success of championships that attract participants from all over the world. Since its inception in 2007, Batelco has been committed to supporting the tournament and contributing to all the successes as part of the company’s social responsibility. Bahrain Golf Association (BGA) Chairman, Head of the Organising Committee, Major-General Ali bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, commended the Batelco for sponsoring His Majesty King Hamad’s International Golf Championship since it was first launched in 2007. He commended national companies for sponsoring such international sporting events, extending deepest thanks to Batelco Chairman Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa for sponsoring the annual trophy.
