BIC hosts burnout action

Manama, June 9 (BNA): Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) maintains a high-level of excitement and intensity during the holy month of Ramadan with another four rounds of Burnout. The action gets underway with the first meeting on Friday night at "The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East" in Sakhir. The remaining three events are scheduled for every succeeding weekend, with round two on June 17, round three on June 24 and then concluding with a grand finale on July 1. Burnout is one of the most popular BIC events held annually during Ramadan, although this year four additional nights of action have already taken place over the past month. Huge crowds of fans turned out each time and watched a large group of competitors battle it out. The same is expected over the next four weeks, with drivers coming from Bahrain and the rest of the GCC. BIC is inviting all motorsport fans to be a part of the excitement this Friday. Action that evening is scheduled to begin at 8pm and continue all the way up until midnight. The Burnout will be happening along BIC car parks three to six. Those interested in taking part may register from 5pm to 7pm at car parks one and two. Entrants must meet specific eligibility criteria to take part and pay an entry fee of BD7 per driver. Those wishing to get a taste of the action as a passenger may do so for a fee of BD4. Spectators will be able to watch all the action free of charge.
