B.Monkhzaya breaks nat’l record in women’s marathon

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A distance runner B.Monkhzaya IMS from the "Aldar" sports club has broken her personal as well as the national record of Mongolia in women’s marathon during competing an international “A” class marathon last week in Chuncheong of China. Coached by B.Torbat, the runner took 10th place in the race, covering the full marathon distance in two hours 33 minutes and 36 seconds. Before this, she had had a two hours 38 minutes and 43 seconds record. The national record in men marathon belongs to State Honored Sportsman B.Ser-Od (two hours 08 minutes 50 seconds), set during the 2014 Fukuoka marathon.
