Brainy athletes to compete in Extreme Memory Tournament

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mind athletes from the Mongolian Intellectual Academy headed Tuesday for the USA to take part in the Extreme Memory Tournament of top 24 athletes of the world, which will be held on June 24-26 in San Diego. With a prize fund of USD 75 thousand, the tournament will be held among top mind contestants from Mongolia, USA, Germany, England, Sweden, the Netherlands, the Philippines and China. Being the second largest at the tournament, our team included O.Sengesamdan, E.Purevjav IGMs, B.Shijir-Erdene GM, Z.Tsetsegzul and A.Anudari IMs. In the previous year’s Extreme Memory Tournament, Mongolian athlete T.Enkhjin broke the world record in the “images” contest, and the team was ranked 2nd by collecting the cash prizes after Germany.
