Camel Racing Committee Announces Program of HH the Father Amir Camel Festival

Doha, December 26 (QNA) - The Camel Racing Organizing Committee issued on Thursday the annual program of the annual purebred Arabian Camel Festival on the sword of HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, which will be held during the period from January 18 to 29, with the great participation of camel owners. Many camel owners and fans of heritage sport in Qatar are awaiting the launch of this great annual festival, the second grand event of the 2019-2020 season after the Founder Festival. This year, participants in the festival will have the opportunity to win important cash prizes, as well as 202 luxury cars for the first-place winners. The public race competitions for camels will be concluded on Wednesday, January 29, and it is expected that the race will witness, a great competition for financial prizes, titles, and gifts. The Camel Racing Organizing Committee is keen to organize the camel race competition within major festivals, including HH the Father Amir Camel Festival 2020, in order to preserve this traditional sport which is always witnessing a huge turnout.
